How to Use Your SD Card as Default Internal Storage on Your Android 6.0

When You are running out of space… insufficient memory is a message you’ll definitely see on Android smartphones. Some Android 6.0 users are already complaining of insufficient memory despite the facts that they have enough space in their memory card.

Let me show you how to make default your SD card as your storage memory on Android 6.0 devices. Meaning, every application you’ll download, file etc will be stored directly on your SDcard and not phone memory.

Requirements
1. Make sure you use original SD card or else it will surely not last long on the device
2. If you are using old Micro SD card, back up all your files and document

Note that this tutorial is not the same step with Android version lower than 6.0.
How to Use SD Card As Default Internal Storage on Android 6.0
1. Turn OFF your phone>> insert the SD card you wish to use as internal storage >> And Then Turn it ON again
You should get a notification that a new SD card has been detected; double tap the notification

2. Tick Use as internal storage then click on Next
3. Before you implement this step, make sure you backed up all your file in a safe drive  or phone memory.
4. Click Erase and Format (Wait while the SD card get formatted)
5. Tick Move now or Move later depending on when you wish to move media files from the internal storage to the newly prepared SD card
6. Click on Done and reboot your your device.
Once the process is completed, any application you download from any source will be automatically installed into your SD card as default memory.
Note that Once you format your external SD card as internal storage on Marshmallow, it can only be used on the same device then. To use it on other devices, a format will be required, which ensures the safety of your data on the SD card.

I Hope This Helps Out:)

Things to Consider Before Buying an Android Phone

While the users of Apple iPhone are stuck with the same hardware and the same features, Android users have a lot of choices to choose a phone to meet their needs. If you visit a gadget store and ask for an Android phone, there is a huge chance that the sellers will show you more than a dozen of Android devices. But when it is always a good thing to have a lot of options to choose, it can still make many people confused. In other words, if you do not choose carefully and cleverly, you may waste your money and end up with a bad experience with Android. In this article, I will show you several things you you should consider first before purchasing an Android phone.

Make a list of the features you need

Each Android device offers a different set of features so you must know beforehand what features you will need in your phone. Therefore make sure you know what you will be using the phone fore. The smart customers always narrow down their needs so they will not end up buying something they do not want. And this rule applies to the customers of Android phones too.

Do researches and read reviews first

If you just go to the gadget store and keep trying and testing all the devices, it can be tedious for you as well as the retailer. Moreover, the retailer may give you false information about a device to trick you to buy it. By the same token, you should always do your own researches before going to the store to make the purchase. It is also better to check out phone reviews from reputed third-party sources so you can have more objective and honest information about the device you want to buy. Another advantages of reading/watching reviews is that you may know about other products as well because most reviews usually have a comparison section between similar devices.

Check the manufacturer of the device

There is a joke that there are even more Android phone models than Android users. When it is just a joke, it also states the fact that there are so many companies producing Android devices. Although you might find that some manufacturers offer Android phones at ridiculously low prices, once you get the phone, you'll be thoroughly disappointed. To be able to offer that price, these manufacturers usually create their phones using low-quality hardware, and thus making the phone absolutely unusable and easy to be broken. Even if you're in luck and find it to be working perfectly, there's a good chance that if ever you have problems with it, you won't be able to find any help at all. Therefore my advice is that always buy products from well-known manufacturers. Another important thing, when you buy the phone, make sure you get the proper documents like warranty card, manual and invoice. Finally, to save valuable time in the future, make sure you store the contact details of the nearest service center for your phone.

Getting to Know Android Phones

Android is the name used to address a stack of software which is composed of an operating system, a middle ware, and key applications. The development of Android applications used on phones that operated through the Android software stack platform makes use of the Java programming language.

Many smartphone manufacturers nowadays operate through Android. Smartphones are technically mobile phones that have faster and more enhanced computing abilities including Internet connectivity and the ability to house applications and games depending on its storage capacity compared to a simple feature phone.

Today, Android phones are everywhere and Android seems to be one of the biggest software stack used by every tech giant except those companies which has created and configured their own operating system, middle ware and application bank or cache.

Since many manufacturers make use of this operating system, it has grown very popular especially within the last two years. Not only do smartphones make use of this technology but even tablet PCs and phones which are so popular these days. Now, even if you prefer a smartphone with a big screen for connectivity and browsing reasons or if you would rather use a tablet PC for a wider view for gaming purposes, Android has got the coolest, advanced, entertaining, educational and functional applications that are free most of the time. Although they do have some paid apps out in the market, there are still a lot of options to choose from among the applications that can be downloaded for free.

PROS:

There are various platforms nowadays, but the reason why it is one of the most popular is because many mobile phones brand subscribe to using it. It is a very practical move since they do not have to create their own platforms. Also, Android phone users are presented with more flexibility since there a re a lot of phones to choose from. It can vary from brand to brand, model to model, and feature to feature. Also, since Android phones have run on shared applications, phones that are not under the same brand or manufacturer can still share information with each other so long as they are both using smartphones that operates on Android operating system.

CONS:

According to tech experts, compared to other smartphones, Android phones tend to have smaller screens than its competitors and some models do not have a physical keyboard which makes typing a tad too difficult especially to users with bigger fingertips. Software-wise, the Android software does not have an automatic sync to a personal computer which will require a user to make use of a third-party syncing application if he or she wants to sync files from his or her Android phone to his computer and vice versa.

Android Phone - 3 Factors You Must Consider Before You Buy the Gadget

Unlike in its early years of introduction into the open market, the Android phone has become very popular by virtue of its exciting and user-friendly features. The phone comes with an open platform and it has special features that are different from other mobile handsets.

While making an effort to buy an Android mobile phone, you should take note of the following factors so as to get the best device that suits your budget and preferences.

1. GSM Carrier

Today, there are several telecommunication service providers or GSM carriers that offer Android mobile phones to interested customers. Getting the most appropriate service carrier is much more important than buying a particular brand of phone. It is your GSM carrier that determines whether you will enjoy your Android phone or not. So, place greater importance on the service provider.

More so, if your chosen service provider has poor coverage in your residential area, you won't enjoy your Android phone. Try to identify if the GSM carrier has dead spots or poor signal strength in your vicinity. If possible, ask for a trial offer in order to find out the efficiency of the service.

2. 4G Connectivity

When you want to buy an Android phone, you should find out if your GSM carrier offers a high-speed 4G connectivity. This is quite crucial since Android cell phones happen to be the first gadgets that primarily operate on 4G networks. So, if you buy an Android gadget which does not have 4G connectivity, you have only purchased an ordinary phone.

3. Design
Even though, the design of Android mobile phones is a secondary factor compared to their functionality and features, yet many people put it into consideration in their buying decision. Depending on your taste, you can buy a phone that is stylish and attractive.

You may also opt for a portable phone, rather than a bulky type, most especially if you are a kind of person who travels often and often. It is also important to consider the keypad of the device. You can buy products that have QWERTY keypads; you may even like the type that comes with a touch screen. The screen size as well as the resolution is another consideration on the design. Typically, different Android phones come with small or large screens. Ensure that the resolution is quite crisp and clear.
